• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to develop individualized therapy strategies that meet their unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, and families.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and positive outcomes for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in workshops and training to stay current on mental health research and practices.

The counseling services you provide will cater to clients with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will support individuals and families who might be experiencing limitations in accessing care, offering them a pathway to regain control over their mental health. Your compassionate approach and clinical skills will help clients address their challenges and improve their overall emotional well-being.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies to ensure efficient documentation and client management.
• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and workshops.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition to a salary, our benefits package includes:
