Job description


MasterTech is on the search for Industrial Technicians with Sheetfed or Komori -experience on label and printing production equipment based out of Washington DC or near any major airport on the Eastern sea board, requiring extensive travel to customer locations. Richmond, Raleigh, Petersburg, Fredricksburg, etc.
Compensation:
  • $30.00 - $46.00/hour
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision

Shift:
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday with ample overtime + occasional on-call.

Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational.
Detail-oriented Field Service Techs are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
  • Previous Printing or Related packaging experience in PrePress and/or PostPress machinery
  • Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
  • Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication.
  • Previous experience using oscilloscopes, drills, taps, etc.
  • Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.
