Job description

Field Service Technicians (Electrical experience or Mechanical/Millwright experience Preferred)

The Field Service Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of heat-treating equipment. This position will have time split between the shop and field service at customer facilities throughout the United States (50% travel). Candidates for this position must be self-motivated and will work closely with both the engineering and design team members in order to repair and service existing equipment as well as install new equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Work closely with design department to develop scopes of work on equipment.

· Repair existing equipment on site using provided specifications.

· Communicate effectively with customers on all aspects of maintenance and repair.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot problems.

· Use industrial equipment, hand tools, and table top tools independently.

· Knowledge of heat treat equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

· Must be able to use hand tools.

· Must have strong mechanical aptitude.

· Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

· Must be able to use precision measuring tools.

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Must have valid driver's license.

· Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
