Description
Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repair services on company's medical equipment on-site at hospitals in Western, North Carolina territory. This role will require applying a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes required to complete the work. Daily focus will be on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.
Day-to-day functions:
  • Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
  • Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
  • Assists the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
  • Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts. Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
  • Completed and submit accurate reporting.
  • Spare parts inventory management.
  • Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); 40% overnight travel.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate's Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field preferred)
  • Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.

Nice-To-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:
  • Training and/or certifications preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
