BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Compass Call Field Service Representative (FSR). The qualified candidate will provide technical support to the USAF on the flight line and perform component repair on select Prime Mission Equipment. The selected individual will be expected to have in-depth knowledge in Air Force maintenance methodologies that support war-fighter operations. Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Provide over the Shoulder training for the USAF EW Maintainers- Provide Input and recommendations to Technical Documents. Interface with engineers as required to identify, report, and resolve issues in the field. Candidate may be required at times to rotationally support 1st, 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts, to support site OPTEMPO. Deployment events will range from one to twelve consecutive weeks at a time and will be travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Key Job responsibilities include the following:
  • Perform preflight activities and Line Replaceable Unit Maintenance:
  • PME System Start Up/Shutdown
  • Built In Test (BIT) knowledge.
  • BIT execution
  • BIT results interpretation
  • System alignments
  • System troubleshooting and repair.
  • System scheduled maintenance.
  • Following Air Force and engineering Job guides and manuals

Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related field such as Electrical /Software Engineering and/or 6 years of equivalent work experience
  • Anticipate Field Travel to be approximately 25%
  • Willing and Qualified to Deploy in support of Program OCONUS Requirements
  • Flexible work schedule based on flight operations/work requirements.
  • Active Secret eligible to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance, within a reasonable amount of time, determined by business need (US Citizenship required)
  • 4 or more years of related work experience with Compass Call Systems
  • Must possess strong organizational and intermediate EW, IR, RF electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and fault isolation abilities.
  • Must be proficient in the operation of Test equipment, such as: Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Security+ Certification
  • Experience with Compass Call Weapon System in the Mid Baseline 2 configuration and able to become proficient in future Baseline operations.
  • HVAC Experience
  • Experience as a Compass Call Combat Systems Electronics Technician, Component Repair and/or Field Service Representative
  • Knowledge of the Air Force 755th Maintenance organization and Component Repair Operations
