Description

Calibrated To Exceed Expectations

Ready to help build what's next? Some roles maintain the business, while others help define its future. The Operations Manager role is designed for a leader who wants to make a lasting impact. As a trusted partner to the Director of Operations, you'll help drive operational performance today while building the foundation for tomorrow. From developing leaders and improving operational consistency to supporting future acquisitions and growth initiatives, you'll have a direct hand in shaping the next chapter of our organization. If you're looking for an opportunity to influence, lead, and grow alongside a company with ambitious goals, this is the role for you.

Who We Are:

UniFide CST is a primary distributor of weighing systems, thermal printing equipment, and data collection software. With a long-standing reputation for superior service and trusted products, our technical services, sales teams, and partners work together to deliver solutions, not transactions. Our success is built on credibility, accountability, and long-term customer relationships.ย

The Role:

The Operations Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational performance across multiple service locations. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will lead a team of Field Service Managers, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure consistent execution of processes that create exceptional customer experiences. As a newly created role, this position will play a critical part in building the foundation for future growth. You'll help scale operations, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support the integration of future acquisitions as UniFide CST continues to expand. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys balancing strategy and execution, developing people, improving processes, and creating sustainable business results.

What Success Looks Like (Day In The Life):

Every day brings a different opportunity, but a successful Operations Manager at UniFide CST is focused on driving results, developing leaders, and creating consistency across the organization. You might start your day reviewing operational and financial metrics, identifying trends, and partnering with Field Service Managers on improvement plans. By mid-morning, you're collaborating with Customer Experience, Service, or HR to solve issues, improve processes, or support staffing needs. Throughout the week, you'll spend time in the field visiting locations, coaching managers, riding alongside technicians, and ensuring our teams have the tools and support they need to succeed.

Success in this role means:

  • Building high-performing teams and developing strong leaders
  • Driving accountability around operational and financial performance
  • Improving efficiency, consistency, and scalability across locations
  • Supporting business growth through operational excellence
  • Creating a culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
  • Helping successfully integrate future acquisitions into the UniFide CST operating model

Who You Are (Qualifications):

You're a confident, people-focused leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and helping teams perform at their best. You know how to lead through others, balancing support and accountability while building trust and credibility across an organization. You're comfortable making decisions, managing change, and navigating a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

You likely bring:

  • 6+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
  • Experience leading managers, supervisors, or multi-layered teams
  • A track record of improving operational performance through data, KPIs, and process improvements
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to lead change and support organizational growth
  • Experience in a field service, distributed workforce, or multi-location environment (preferred)

Most importantly, you're excited about helping build the future of a growing organization and influencing the next generation of operational leadership at UniFide CST.

Benefits:

  • Company vehicle and equipment
  • Competitive salaryย
  • Health, dental, life, and vision insurance
  • 8 paid holidaysย
  • 3 weeks of PTO
  • 401(k) with company match
  • A team-first culture where leadership, accountability, and collaboration matter

Why UniFide CST:

You'll have the opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership position with significant influence on the future direction of the business. As the organization grows, you'll play an instrumental role in scaling operations, developing leaders, and supporting strategic acquisitions. You'll work alongside a leadership team that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while having the opportunity to grow your own career in a meaningful way. If you're looking for a role where you can make a lasting impact, build something meaningful, and help lead a growing organization into its next chapter, apply today; we'd love to hear from you.
