Field Service Millwrights are skilled tradespeople who install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment at client sites. They travel to various locations to troubleshoot problems, assemble or dismantle machinery, and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Their work often involves reading technical blueprints, aligning and calibrating heavy equipment, and using specialized tools. Field Service Millwrights play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and keeping industrial operations running smoothly.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a field service millwright?

To thrive as a Field Service Millwright, you need mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a technical diploma or apprenticeship certification in industrial mechanics. Familiarity with precision alignment tools, hydraulic systems, and maintenance management software is typically required. Preventative Maintenance:Participate in the preventative maintenance program on all equipment to drive continuous improvement and reliability.
