Job tasks


As the Field Service Manager you will manage all aspects of the designated service region, including but not limited to, workforce selection, performance management, P&L monitoring, territory needs and opportunities, as well as customer relations.
Territory: New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont



  • Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install base

  • Ensure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in the areas of safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitability

  • Develop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitability

  • Partner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; presents the service offering to customers as required

  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of the field service team

  • Drive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports

  • Develop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer service

  • Promote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency


Your profile

  • Associateโ€™s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Hands-on experience managing a field team of at least 10 mechanical technicians

  • Ability to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing data

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacy

  • Knowledge of OSHA standards in a service environment

  • Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (~20% overnight)

  • Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel
