Job description

Snelling is recruiting a Field Service Technician for a growing service company. This hands-on role involves performing routine maintenance on commercial water and ice machines at customer locations, including filter changes, cleaning, troubleshooting, and equipment servicing. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and eager to learn repair and service skills. Candidates with maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, or similar mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. 
Starting Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement. 
  • A company vehicle, laptop, and cellphone are provided. 
Responsibilities of Field Service Technician:
  • Travel to customer sites to perform scheduled maintenance on water and ice machines.
  • Change filters and perform cleaning procedures according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Provide professional customer service while working at client locations.
  • Participate in training programs to develop troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Assist with equipment servicing and repairs as experience and training progress.
Qualifications Required of Field Service Technician:
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand tools.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules.
