ELS is hiring for the position of Silver Dollar FT Trap Club Ranger in Odessa, Florida.

ELS is hiring for the position of FT Trap Club Ranger in Odessa, Florida at Silver Dollar Resort.
What you'll do:
As a trap ranger you will perform various duties requiring technical and manual labor skills, including loading a trap shooting machine, groundskeeping, and safety operations. You work as a team participant along with the Trap Club Manager to ensure the community meets the quality standards set by ELS.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Target Loading: Fill and restock trap machines with targets smoothly and efficiently between squads or during scheduled lulls.
  • Machine Operation: Turn machines on and off.
  • Routine Maintenance: Clean, clear broken target debris. Weed, and edge common areas along the range field and around the club.
  • Safety Enforcement: Follow strict range rules, ensure power/machinery is disabled before entering the traphouse, and monitor safe conditions.
  • You will be required to move heavy objects, and you may drive maintenance truck/golf cart to various locations on the property.
  • General Cleanup: Sweep hulls, empty trash, and keep the traphouse and surrounding shooting stations organized.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to stand for long hours, work in outdoor weather, lift heavy cases of targets (up to 50 lbs) and work with heavy equipment.
  • Reliability & Focus: High attention to detail and ability to maintain concentration during repetitive, fast-paced tasks.
  • Communication: Good coordination skills to work smoothly with other range staff, pullers, and shooters.
