Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fiels Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate construction activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, improving performance, driving efficiency, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Description:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within time and budget.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to align schedules and deliverables.

  • Oversee resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Operational Oversight

  • Monitor and evaluate overall company operations to improve productivity and reduce costs.

  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.

  • Track project KPIs and report performance to senior management.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage operations staff, site teams, and subcontractors.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Implement quality control standards and supervise compliance at all project sites.

  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements in construction operations.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and consultants.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and key decisions.

  • Support the business development team in preparing bids and project proposals.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Monitor project budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Approve procurement of construction materials and services.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize operational inefficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 15+ years of experience in building/vertical construction operations, Preferably in New York City, with at least 5 years in a Senior managerial role.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project management methodologies.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD,Procore).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
