Job description

Maintenance Field Operations Manager
Job Type: Full time: 40 hours per week with occasional overtime opportunities.
Salary Per Hour: varies based on experience.
Summary:
A Field Operations Manager oversees maintenance, irrigation, spray, and small Enhancement operations for an assigned book of business.
Reports to: VP of Field Operations
Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a Book of Business by proactively establishing a working and professional relationship with a CRM, Crew Leaders, Irrigation Technicians, Spray Technicians and other Field Personnel they manage for their assigned book of business.
  2. Oversees all quality control on maintenance accounts and irrigation work for their assigned book of business.
  3. Schedules maintenance crews, irrigation techs, spray techs, and other field work as needed to meet quality goals and customer expectations
  4. Proactively manages irrigation needs for the maintenance accounts.
  5. Meets productivity budgets for hours, gross margin, and book revenue. This includes checking timecards for accuracy and adjusting the schedule as needed.
  6. Meet with Client Relationship Manager on sites when needed.
  7. Meet the maintenance crew on site when needed.
  8. Trains Crew Leaders, Crews, Irrigation Technicians, Spray Technicians, and other Field Staff as needed to meet Green Summit’s quality and operational standards.
  9. Ensure staffing needs for the workload are met.

  4. Manages up to 8 direct reports (maintenance crew leaders and irrigation techs)

  6. Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
  7. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality.
  8. Responds to management direction, follows instructions and completes work in a timely manner.
  9. Takes personal responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments and askis for and offers help when needed.
  10. Observes safety and security procedures and reports any potentially unsafe conditions.
  11. Is consistently at work and on time and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills required. Computer Skills:
Proficient in Windows 10 and earlier editions and latest editions in Microsoft Office applications; typing speed a minimum 65 wpm.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
