Job description

Field Operations Manager in Stockton, CA 

Pay: $55.29–$62.50 per hour

****MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL DOOR INSTALLATION EXP OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

This leadership role is responsible for managing Field Supervisors, driving operational excellence, improving team performance, and ensuring consistent service quality across multiple locations. This is an operations leadership position—not a field technician role. You'll focus on leading people, improving processes, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Field Supervisors across multiple locations.
  • Oversee daily field operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce operational processes and quality standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and hold field teams accountable for performance.
  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development.
  • Review scheduling, quoting, job quality, and callback trends to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze operational metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to senior leadership.
  • Administer employee recognition and performance bonus programs.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between field operations and company leadership.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience leading field service, construction, facilities, or operations teams.
  • Must have 3-5 years of commercial door installations  
  • Experience with field service software such as Jobber, ServiceChannel, Front, Workforce Management systems, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and welding work is a plus.
