Job description

A growing global trading and distribution company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Associate to support day-to-day business operations, order management, logistics, and administrative processes. This role will work closely with internal teams as well as customers, vendors, and service providers to ensure transactions and deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is analytical, dependable, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate orders, shipments, deliveries, and other day-to-day operational activities.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Enter and maintain accurate order, shipping, and transaction information.
  • Monitor the status of orders and deliveries and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Research and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports, update spreadsheets, and assist with data analysis.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to transactions and operations.
  • Support process improvements and other projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, finance, supply chain, trade support, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
