Description:

The Field Operations Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, logistical, and operational support to GBC Food Services’ stakeholders. This role ensures seamless day-to-day operations, efficient communication between franchisees, Operations Team, Field Operators, and corporate stakeholders, and assists in compliance with company standards and food safety requirements. The role may require travel, occasionally on short notice, to support operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative liaison for field teams.
  • Coordinate schedules, travel, and logistics for Field Operations team members, service providers and other stakeholders.
  • Collect, organize, and report field operations data including operator run kiosk, locations, expenditures, compliance, and other records.
  • Monitor operational compliance with company policies, food safety standards (including ServSafe requirements), and local health regulations. Ensure fully compliant prior to starting.
  • Assist field teams in onboarding, training, and ongoing support for new field teams and site launches.
  • Facilitate communication between GBC corporate teams, and other applicable stakeholders to address operational needs and resolve matters promptly.
  • Support the planning and execution of process improvement initiatives within the field operations function.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute operational reports and key metrics for leadership.
  • Ensure timely submission and tracking of required documentation, and certifications (including ServSafe Manager Certification).
  • Maintain accurate records related to expenses, service provider ran stores and field activities.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements:

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders such as, host location personnel, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving operational needs.
  • Ability to travel as needed, sometimes with little advance notice, including extended trips.
  • Must be able to speak English; Burmese and Chin are highly preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative or operations support experience, ideally in retail, hospitality, food service, or franchise environments.
  • Experience coordinating schedules, supporting field teams, or managing logistics is highly valued.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel frequently by car or plane to visit field locations and franchise partners.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout host locations during site visits.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), carrying, or transporting materials/equipment as needed.

Work Environment

  • This position is office-based, not a remote eligible position.
  • Fast-paced, dynamic work setting with frequent cross-departmental collaboration and travel.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
