Responsibilities

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented and certified Field Services Manager to join our Mariettateam. We offer opportunities for professional development with additional incentives as you advance your skills and gain experience. In this role, you will successfully ensure that our technicians are properly trained and organized through management within the Field Services department. 

Responsibilities

  • Safety: Oversee the calibration of field equipment, to include inventory maintenance and organization of supplies; Promote safety and safety culture; Ensure proper PPE is used on project sites; Assist with company required safety training.
  • Communication: Management of field services scheduling operations; Ensure that schedule requests are being met; Daily review of field reports and senior review of reports as requested; Assist staff with resolution of issues; Regularly provide assistance to project managers and the department manager as needed; Attend project site meetings and provide technical resolution of issues as needed.
  • Training and Development: Supervise, lead, and mentor field services staff as they grow in their careers; Responsible for day-to-day operations of the group with consideration to financial performance; Ensure that the field services group is properly trained and address any gaps in training when needed; Collaborate with other managers and recruiting to ensure adequate staffing for your team; Manage and oversee CMT projects and prepare proposals; Manage the group to promote continued growth with a strong emphasis on marketing and business development.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of related experience, including practical experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, field quality assurance testing, site grading, and supervising construction materials testing (CMT).
  • Must have and be willing to maintain basic certifications.
  • Advanced certifications may be required based on the work performed.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Expert understanding of construction materials testing principles, applications, and ASTM testing standards.
  • Ability to determine appropriate testing methods and the ability to evaluate test results in terms of specification compliance.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials testing and evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors and to build a team.
  • Knowledge of ECS systems and procedures is a plus.
