ABOUT THE ROLE
Citadel CPM is in search of an experienced General Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will work on various construction projects managing inspections of CIP and small collections projects. Additionally, you must be familiar with heavy collections with municipal wastewater treatment plant experience.
ABOUT YOU
You are a general inspector with minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiar with heavy collections with municipal wastewater treatment plant inspection.
  • Establish quality inspection programs and processes that ensure company and customer requirements are met.
  • Ensure all contract documents are represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed.
  • Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
  • Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
  • Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
  • Document and track deficiencies. Update progress of corrections and non-forming issues.
  • Participate in punch lists, testing, commissioning and project closeout.
  • Tracks quality assurance progress.
  • Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnover.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of project/construction inspection.
  • Able to commute to the project sites.
  • Able to work nights and weekends on occasion.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • BS or BA from a recognized college or university in Engineering or a closely related field highly preferred.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with water and sewer conveyance and treatment projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction document management systems.
  • Familiarity with local and jurisdictional codes and regulations.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, licenses, skill set, experience and/or performance. Base pay is only one component of Citadel's total compensation packages for employees.
Pay range for the General Inspector is $100,000 - $145,000 salary per year.
