Job description

ATANE Consulting is actively seeking an experienced Construction Inspector with 5+ years of experience supporting highway and bride construction projects in Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will bring strong inspection experience on transportation infrastructure projects and have worked with state or regional transportation agencies such as RIDOT, CTDOT, or MassDOT/MBTA. Job Responsibilities Construction Inspection and Supervision of Bridge/Highway/Infrastructure to ensure all work is in accordance with Contract Documents and State Specifications.

Supervising construction progress and scheduling. Document all field work in writing, measuring all quantities and taking progress photos and videos. Assisting the project Resident Engineer with project administration.

Perform daily construction inspection of work activities. Utilize field testing equipment to test materials and take samples of concrete, soils and HMA. Complete daily reports, quantity calculations, and reports for construction work observed.

Document completed work (as-built) on plans. Review plans, shop drawings, field measurements, daily quantities and construction safety.Qualifications 5 years of related experience in similar project environments or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Knowledge and experience in performing construction inspection activities on highway bridge-related projects, construction site safety standards and agency procedures

ACI Grade I, ACI-CCTC, ATSSA Certifications are highly desirable. Education Bachelor's degree Required Credentials NICET Certification - Level II/ III/ IV OSHA 10-hour Training Compensation: The pay range for this position is $32.00-$44.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job related factors including but not limited to experience, certifications, education, geographic location, shift requirements, internal equity and business need, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws
