Chief Inspector Location: 100 Great Meadow Road, Wethersfield, CT 06109 Department: CI Position: Full Time ATANE Engineers, P.C. is seeking a Full-Time Chief Inspector to join our team in Wethersfield, Connecticut. This individual will play a key leadership role on our infrastructure projects, bringing deep knowledge of construction inspection within highway, bridge, rail, or facility environments

The Chief Inspector will be responsible for guiding field operations, ensuring contract compliance, overseeing documentation, and supporting successful project delivery. Duties and Responsibilites Oversee and manage daily inspection activities across ongoing construction sites. Verify that contractor work adheres to project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Prepare clear and detailed technical reports, field notes, and recommendations. Work closely with contractors, consultants, subconsultants, and public agencies to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward. Maintain organized, accurate project records, including inspection logs, progress documentation, and change-related items.

Actual compensation will be determined based on job related factors including but not limited to experience, certifications, education, geographic location, shift requirements, internal equity and business need, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws
