Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of 8th grade; no experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Job Summary:

To provide routine manual services to assure clean, orderly, and sanitary conditions in and around buildings.

Job Duties:

  • Cleans and services the entire Field House, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other public areas as needed.
  • Dust mops, wet mops, polish, vacuums, and shampoos carpets, rugs, and furniture.
  • Cleans and disinfects walls, ceilings, and furniture.
  • Cleans all horizontal and vertical surfaces as needed.
  • Maintains pool area, sweeps pool, hoses down pool deck.
  • Checks CO2 gauges, checks chlorine level in tanks, able to read gauges on the pump and understand what those numbers mean.
  • Maintains maintenance sheds on the Fields to make sure they stay neat and orderly.
  • Maintains housekeeping equipment and utility closets in an orderly and clean manner.
  • Makes sure equipment is working, and all equipment not working is reported to the Front Desk.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
  • Cover the reception area on occasion as needed.  
  • Performs related duties as required.

Working Environment and Conditions: 

  • Will be required to work overtime.
  • Exposure to adverse weather conditions - extreme heat/cold and rain.
  • Heavy lifting required: 25 to 50 lbs. frequently; up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Walking: 50 to 75% time.
  • Bending/Stooping/Crouching: 25 to 50% time.
  • Climbing: 15% to 20% time.
  • Pushing/Pulling Objects: 25 to 50% time.

Salary Range:

Actual salary is commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
