Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Associate and GIA Certified Gemologist located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves providing expert consultations, assisting clients in selecting fine jewelry and engagement rings, appraising jewelry pieces including estate jewelry and watches, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service. The Sales Associate will also educate customers on gemology, diamond selection, and jewelry design while maintaining the store's welcoming and professional atmosphere.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Jewelry Appraisal and Appraisal techniques
  • Knowledge and experience in Estate Jewelry and Watches
  • GIA Certification and proficiency in Gemology
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to assist clients in making informed decisions
  • Attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively in an in-person retail environment
  • Previous experience in fine jewelry sales or related fields is a plus
  • Passion for education and building long-lasting customer relationships
