Your Work Matters

The Commercial Merchandising Product Specialist serves as a subject matter expert supporting Commercial Sales, Regional Account Managers (RAMs), and PRO Teams. This role provides product knowledge, merchandising guidance, and project execution support to enable the success and retention of commercial jobs.

Serving as a key connection point between Commercial Sales, Merchandising, Inventory, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, this position helps translate commercial project requirements into clear product solutions, inventory strategies, and merchandising execution. The role also supports the development and rollout of commercial merchandising tools, training, and initiatives that drive consistency, efficiency, and commercial growth.

Commercial Merchandising Product Specialists play a critical role in executing merchandising strategies, supporting largescale commercial projects, and ensuring field teams are equipped with accurate product guidance and resources.

You'll Be Successful With

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field preferred
    (Relevant experience may be substituted; one year of experience equates to one academic year)

  • Minimum of one year of experience in merchandising, inventory, product, project management, or related roles within retail or commercial environments

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional partners

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fastpaced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Processoriented, selfstarter with the ability to analyze and manage large volumes of data and information with accuracy

  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills and a strong customer service mindset

  • Ability to mentor or support peers as needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred

  • Willingness to perform additional related duties as assigned to support business objectives

Your Day Consists Of

  • Providing product recommendations, guidance, and tailored solutions to support commercial project requirements for the Commercial Sales team.

  • Partnering with Merchant Teams and vendors to support commercial-specific product solutions and initiatives.

  • Collaborating with Commercial Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align inventory strategies with commercial project timelines and requirements.

  • Supporting the Commercial Management and Merchant Teams with category planning, analysis, inventory management, promotions, and execution of commercial initiatives.

  • Creating, maintaining, and enhancing commercial merchandising tools, resources, and sales enablement materials for field teams.

  • Assisting in the development and delivery of commercial merchandising training and knowledge materials.

  • Owning assigned commercial projects and initiatives by ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and successful outcomes.

  • Leading coordination efforts with internal departments and external partners to support commercial project execution.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project, product, and customer information within Salesforce and other business systems.

  • Identifying process gaps and inefficiencies while supporting continuous improvement across commercial merchandising workflows.

  • Performing additional functions and responsibilities of a similar nature to achieve assigned business objectives.

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work - Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
