Job description

Field Engineer
The Field Engineer will provide engineering support for field maintenance activities, with a strong focus on industrial machinery and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance and equipment-related issues
• Analyze failure and downtime data to develop effective maintenance strategies and minimize equipment downtime
• Lead and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, diagnose faults, and drive timely resolution
• Conduct and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) initiatives
• Develop repair plans and procedures in collaboration with engineering teams and equipment vendors
• Supervise and support maintenance technicians and shop activities
• Oversee on-site repairs and coordinate with third-party fabrication and repair vendors
• Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and support forecasting efforts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• Minimum 7 years of industrial plant maintenance experience
• Strong experience with CMMS/EAM systems for maintenance planning, asset tracking, and failure reporting
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication monitoring)
• Experience with heavy industrial systems such as material handling, boilers, heat transfer systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, and fire protection systems
