JOB SUMMARY

The Field Sales Associate represents the TVC Pro-Driver brand within assigned travel stop locations and serves as a brand ambassador to professional drivers. This role engages directly with customers to identify needs, present membership offerings, and enroll drivers in TVC products and services. 

The Field Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience while achieving established sales goals and supporting broader sales initiatives within the Field Success organization. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Maintain an active presence within assigned travel stop locations to engage with drivers and customers. 
  • Initiate conversations with customers to identify needs and introduce TVC membership offerings and services. 
  • Present product features, benefits, and pricing clearly to prospective members. 
  • Promote and enroll customers in TVC memberships and fuel card offerings. 
  • Meet or exceed established monthly sales goals. 
  • Provide professional and responsive customer service during all interactions. 
  • Address customer questions and resolve concerns in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain knowledge of TVC products, services, and promotional offerings. 
  • Participate in team meetings and training to strengthen sales skills and product knowledge. 
  • Maintain an organized and professional sales area within assigned locations. 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to support sales strategies and improve customer engagement. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Customer-facing experience preferred. 
  • Sales experience preferred but not required. 
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry or CDL driver needs is a plus. 

 

Hard Skills

  • Ability to communicate product features, benefits, and pricing effectively. 
  • Basic understanding of sales techniques including prospecting and closing. 
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to learn and apply product knowledge related to TVC membership services. 
  • Ability to track activity and work toward defined sales goals

Education

High school diploma or GED required. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged standing, some bending and stooping
  • Eye strain (screen use)
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
  • Additional hours may be necessary.
