The HTM Field Service Supervisor reports to the HTM Biomedical Manager. Supervises the operation and productivity of assigned Field Service Technicians, providing repair services to clinical assets and biomedical equipment.

JOB DUTIES
  • Is perceived as the subject matter expert medical device error diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.
  • Prepares ongoing reports such as temperature monitoring and asset tracking and departmental status reports for executive staff.
  • Monitors all service contracts covering patient-related equipment.
  • Supervises the installation, repair, and maintenance of all clinical equipment and instrumentation used for patient care.
  • Maintains required records, reports, and statistics related to biomedical equipment.
  • Contributes to development of standard operating procedures and training plans to maintain quality and meet department and individual goals.
  • Supervises daily production goals by maintaining operations and monitoring productivity of each assigned team member.
  • Sets individual performance goals, clarifies responsibilities, identifies continuing education needs, communicates regularly and monitors workload and quality indicators for all for all assigned team members.
  • Collaborates on development of departmental strategic planning and communication of departmental determined strategic goals to team.
  • Oversees all HR related functions for assigned FTE's including performance reviews, employee recognition, employee counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Provides direct reports with guidance and mentorship while fostering an environment of cohesion and maintains professionalism at all times.
  • Manages and approves schedules, leave time and attendance of all assigned Biomedical Technicians with input from the HTM Biomedical Manager.
  • Maintains required records and reports relative to regulatory compliance of biomedical equipment.
  • Maintains professional growth and technical expertise and knowledge through seminars, conferences, and other educational forums.
  • Demonstrates commitment to organizational Values of Excellence, Compassion, Teamwork, and Innovation.
  • Attends required meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
