Job Title: Specialty Contracting – Field Assistant 
Reports to: General Manager
Line of Business: Specialty Contracting Company – Flooring Trade
Effective Date: 09/2025
 
Primary Purpose:

To ensure and maintain high quality standards in the jobsite by working with the general manager, field supervisor, installers, account coordinators, and subcontractors during day-to-day operations.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following list of duties and responsibilities are essential to the job.  However, specific activities might change from time to time in addition to additional activities not mentioned below.  

 
·         To help with the flooring installation process by assisting the company’s personnel on the job site.  
·         To maintain the jobsite clean and organized to ensure job efficiency. 
·         To always maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules during daily operations.
·         To report any safety issues found on jobsites. 
·         To wear proper personal protective equipment on jobsites.   
·         To maintain a professional relationship with superiors, co-workers, and other individuals on the job site. 
·         To constantly communicate with field personnel, managers, and account coordinators.
·         To report precise project details to company’s personnel.
·         To constantly monitor the jobsite to ensure it is up to the GC’s standard.  
·         To effectively indicate the existence of issues and use problem-solving abilities when there is any indication of distress on the jobsite.  
·         To help maintain the company’s equipment and vehicles to ensure project efficiency.
·         To help manage the proper use of material to avoid any unnecessary waste.

Potential to work both independently and as a team player when required.   
Ability to work in a fast-paced and under-pressure environment.
Capacity to meet deadlines by controlling time management efficiently.
