Field Team Lead | FT Contract | Brantford, ON & Surrounding Areas

*This is a 5-week contract beginning Aug 17th, 2026 and ending the week of: September 20th, 2026*

Though this is a contract role, successful employees may be offered an opportunity for extension or transfer to another program at the end of the contract.

Weโ€™re building a team of enthusiastic door-to-door canvassers who will approach and engage potential voters in the riding of Brantford-Brant South-Six Nations. As a Field Team Lead, youโ€™ll support and motivate the team, keep them focused on achieving objectives and handle the day-to-day operations of the program. This role involves walking the neighborhood, working outdoors in all-weather conditions, and using your personal vehicle to travel between assigned areas. Weโ€™re looking for people who are comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to doing the work properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3-4 canvassers as we conduct public outreach to engage with potential voters
  • Represent the client professionally as an ambassador
  • Train and coach team members to engage the public with enthusiasm, while delivering a great experience and staying focused on objectives
  • Submit accurate daily and weekly reporting via online portals
  • Monitor performance and analyze reports to ensure objectives are being met
  • Lead daily team meetings and maintain group communication channels
  • Uphold company standards for professionalism and integrity in the field

What does it take to succeed in this role?

  • Minimum of one year supervisory or management experience
  • Experience managing small to medium-sized teams
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with the public
  • Detail-oriented and disciplined in following scripts and protocols
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable
  • Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset

Requirements:

  • You are a conservative voter, or you are bipartisan and have no political affiliations
  • Full-Time Availability - Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM)
  • Comfortable standing, walking and being on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
  • Smartphone required for field data collection
