JOB DESCRIPTION
Power Integrations is the leading supplier of high-voltage, analog integrated circuits (ICs) used in power
conversion. Our ICs combine numerous electronic components onto a single silicon chip, enabling
manufacturers to produce smaller, simpler power supplies for a wide range of electronics applications. Our
patented EcoSmartยฎ technology enables manufacturers to meet all current and proposed energy standards
worldwide, and continues to save consumers hundreds of millions of dollars each year on their electricity bills.
Job Responsibilities:
We are currently looking to add a talented Field Applications Engineer to our North American Sales team based
in the Western US region. To be successful in this role, candidates must have a strong desire to help other
engineers achieve the maximum performance and benefit from our products. As the technical lead in the sales
organization within the region, customers will look to you for guidance choosing the right products and for help
with optimizing the implementation. You must also have strong organizational skills, the ability to work
independently, and of course, superior technical skills. You must also possess the willingness to perform detailed
bench work to breadboard and test solutions for customers.

โ€ข Ability and willingness to interface with customers on the telephone
โ€ข Ability to present Power Integrations product benefits to large and small groups
โ€ข Strong analytical and laboratory skills
Requirements:
โ€ข BSEE or equivalent; MSEE or equivalent preferred
โ€ข Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a sales engineering role
โ€ข AC-DC Power Conversion design experience
โ€ข Demonstrated magnetics design experience
โ€ข Experience in one of the following end markets: UPS, Solid State Lighting, Metering, Appliances, Cell
Phone chargers, Industrial controls, Notebook or PC Power Supplies preferred
โ€ข Prior experience as an FAE for semiconductor products used in power conversion applications preferred
โ€ข Working knowledge of EMI and Safety standards
โ€ข Willingness to travel up to 40% within region for on-site customer support
