Job description


Coates Field Service, Inc is seeking an experienced Sr. Right of Way of Agent in Westwood, MA. Right of Way (ROW) Services to support T&D Right of Way team in the MA region and to provide right of way and real estate support for Transmission and Distribution line projects and ROW requests across the State.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary ROW Team representative for each stakeholder or customer request
  • Actively participating in all relevant project meetings and customer engagement.
  • Managing and ensuring compliance with all scope of work responsibilities outlined below.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards across all SOW and deliverables outlined.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing ROW-related issues.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Engage public agencies and private landowners as necessary.
  • Facilitate preliminary ROW negotiations and agreements.
  • Provide ROW Lead(s) with input and strategy for resolving complex acquisitions and other property rights related requests.
  • Draft all easement/acquisition agreements and supporting documentation for landowner review and regulatory submissions.
  • Complete applicable ROW acquisition negotiations with landowners and agencies.
  • Complete database input, document retention and project close-out procedures.
