Job description

Role Overview

Landmark is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to lead the design of complex, data-rich workflows across our enterprise software portfolio. This role focuses on interaction architecture, usability, and modernizing technical applications while working within and contributing to the Landmark Design System.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and UX leadership to create intuitive, scalable experiences across cloud and on-prem products.

 

Key Responsibilities

Interaction Design

  • Design end-to-end workflows for complex enterprise applications.
  • Define task flows, interaction models, and information architecture.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes (low to high fidelity).
  • Design AI-assisted and data-intensive interactions with clarity and user control.

Usability & Research

  • Plan and conduct usability tests to validate workflows.
  • Lead discovery interviews and workflow analysis sessions.
  • Synthesize research into actionable product improvements.
  • Define and track UX success metrics tied to efficiency, comprehension, and trust.

Design System Collaboration

  • Design using the Landmark Design System (LDS).
  • Contribute new patterns and enhancements based on real product needs.
  • Document interaction behaviors and partner with engineering for implementation quality.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to shape requirements.
  • Present design rationale clearly to stakeholders.
  • Mentor other designers and elevate interaction design quality

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in interaction or product design.
  • Experience designing complex enterprise or technical software.
  • Strong workflow thinking, prototyping skills (Figma preferred), and usability testing experience.
  • Experience working within or contributing to a design system.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, evolving environments.
