Job description

Role: Fiber Optics Supervisor
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: Long Term Contract
Pay Rate: $40/hr. - $44/hr.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily fiber optic installation, termination, splicing, and testing activities.
  • Lead teams of fiber technicians, contractors, and field personnel.
  • Ensure all fiber optic work is completed according to project specifications, industry standards, and company procedures.
  • Review and interpret fiber optic drawings, network designs, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate project schedules, workforce assignments, and material requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • 6-9 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, and structured cabling environments.
  • 3+ years of experience supervising fiber optic field teams or telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic systems.
  • Experience with OTDR testing, power meter testing, fiber certification, and troubleshooting.
