This position provides the foundational skills needed for a career in fiber optics and telecommunications.

What are the typical day-to-day responsibilities of a fiber optic apprentice?

As a Fiber Optic Apprentice, your daily tasks will include assisting with the installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables in both indoor and outdoor environments. You'll work closely under the guidance of experienced technicians, helping prepare cable routes, operate technical equipment, and maintain site safety standards.
