Job description

We are looking for experienced pros or highly motivated individuals ready to master the trade.

The TNI Mission

We are seeking Fiber Optic Cable Technicians who take pride in their work. Whether you're a seasoned splicer or a mechanically-inclined go-getter, we provide the environment and the tech to help you excel. We will train the right people, but we expect excellence in return.

The Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of fiber optic cabling experience (preferred).
  • Legal & Safety: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • On the Road: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • The Vibe: Energetic, detail-oriented, and ready to solve problems on the fly.

What You’ll Be Doing

You aren't just "pulling wire." You are building the infrastructure of the future.

  • Precision Splicing: Perform fiber splicing with surgical precision to ensure secure, high-speed connectivity.
  • Advanced Installs: Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic, Ethernet, telephony, and low-voltage systems in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Problem Solving: Use tools like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and apply your mechanical knowledge to navigate complex pathways (walls, ceilings, and underground).
  • System Maintenance: Provide elite field service support, replacing faulty components and optimizing network performance on-site.
  • Blueprint Execution: Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to ensure every project meets industry-leading safety codes and specifications.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with telephony systems and low-voltage wiring.
  • Tool Savvy: Mastery of hand tools and a high mechanical aptitude.
  • Field Experience: Prior experience as a service technician in the field is highly desirable.

  • Real Career Growth: We don't just offer a job; we offer a path to becoming a top-tier network specialist.
