Job description

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Radiation Oncology team in our Brandon and Clearwater FL locations. Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the world of veterinary oncology? This is your chance to be part of a state-of-the-art facility where advanced medicine meets heartfelt compassion-for both pets and the people who love them.
In this role, you will play a vital part in administering radiation treatments to pets diagnosed with cancer, ensuring their comfort and safety every step of the way. You'll prepare, maintain, and operate specialized radiation therapy equipment, including our new, Varian Truebeam linear accelerator. Monitoring patients during treatment sessions, you'll carefully document their responses and communicate any changes to the veterinary team.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, particularly in oncology or radiation therapy, is a plus but we welcome enthusiastic newcomers!
  • Some travel between our Clearwater and Brandon hospitals required.
