Job description

The ID Checker is responsible for verifying guest identification for alcohol purchases during the Country Calling Music Festival. This position helps ensure that alcohol is only provided to guests who meet legal age requirements and follows all company, festival, state, and local alcohol service policies.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 

This is a seasonal role from October 2, 2026, and will end on October 3, 2026

 

This position will remain open until October 3, 2026


  • Check guest identification before alcohol purchases.
  • Verify that identification is valid and that guests meet the legal drinking age.
  • Recognize acceptable and unacceptable forms of identification.
  • Follow all company, festival, state, and local alcohol compliance requirements.
  • Identify expired, altered, or potentially fraudulent identification.
  • Deny alcohol access when identification does not meet requirements.
  • Communicate with guests regarding ID requirements.
  • Notify a supervisor or manager of alcohol compliance concerns or incidents.
  • Work with bartenders, cashiers, and management to support responsible alcohol service.
  • Follow company and festival policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Previous ID checking, security, customer service, or event experience preferred but not required.
  • Must meet any state or local age requirements for the position.
  • Ability to accurately review identification and dates of birth.
  • Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
  • Ability to remain attentive while working in a high-volume festival environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be available to work the required Country Calling Music Festival schedule, including the weekend and extended shifts as needed.
