Fertility Project Manager information

What does a fertility project manager do?

A Fertility Project Manager oversees and coordinates fertility-related projects, often within clinics, research organizations, or healthcare companies. Their primary responsibilities include planning and managing timelines, budgets, and resources for fertility programs or studies. They collaborate with fertility specialists, lab technicians, and administrative staff to ensure that projects run smoothly and comply with regulations. Additionally, they may handle patient communications, data management, and quality assurance tasks to improve the efficiency and outcomes of fertility services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a fertility project manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Fertility Project Manager, you need expertise in project management, knowledge of reproductive health or fertility treatments, and a relevant degree in healthcare or life sciences. Familiarity with project management software (such as Asana or MS Project), electronic medical records (EMRs), and certifications like PMP are often expected. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills help coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage sensitive patient journeys. These competencies are crucial for ensuring smooth project execution, regulatory compliance, and positive patient outcomes in a complex, emotionally charged field.

How does a fertility project manager typically collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients throughout a project?

A Fertility Project Manager frequently acts as a bridge between healthcare providers, laboratory staff, and patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. They oversee the progression of fertility treatments, manage timelines, and resolve logistical challenges that may arise. By organizing team meetings, tracking patient journeys, and maintaining clear documentation, they help guarantee that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. This collaborative approach helps optimize patient care and contributes to the successful implementation of fertility programs.

Job description

The Project Manager will join the Technology organization to help build the operational foundation that enables ICONIQ Studio, the firm's creative, strategic, and operational center for network engagement, to scale. Partnering closely with Studio leadership, this role will establish and optimize the systems, processes, and tools that support project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence across a fast-paced creative organization. Studio brings together Communications & Content, Events & Experiences, and Network Intelligence & Engagement to connect people and ideas through exceptional experiences, meaningful insights, and compelling content.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and manage project management processes that improve how Studio work is prioritized, planned, executed, and tracked.
  • Partner with Studio leaders and creative teams to translate strategic initiatives into actionable project plans while ensuring teams stay aligned and informed.
  • Design and oversee scalable intake and prioritization workflows that improve visibility, coordination, and execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop operational playbooks, documentation, and AI-enabled workflows that improve consistency, onboarding, and team efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and workflow automation to streamline operations and enhance productivity across Studio.
  • Build reporting dashboards and key performance metrics that provide insight into project health, team capacity, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions that enable Studio to grow efficiently while maintaining a high-quality experience.
  • Partner with Technology, Vendor Management, and cross-functional teams to implement new tools and continuously improve Studio operations.

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 7+ years of project management or operations experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building scalable operational systems, including project tracking, intake workflows, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong process design and systems-thinking skills with the ability to improve how teams work and collaborate.
  • Experience partnering with creative, design, marketing, or event teams to balance structure with flexibility.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience using AI tools and automation platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve workflows and team productivity.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business intelligence, project management, or customer relationship management platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies is a plus. We value team members who are curious about leveraging AI to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance starting on your first day of employment.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage as well as family and wellness benefits including mental health benefits, fertility benefits, and back-up childcare.
  • A matching 401(k) program.
  • Commuter Benefits program.
  • Stipends to support wellness and hybrid working arrangements.
  • We support employees who wish to pursue professional designations/certifications and offer tuition reimbursement in addition to an allocation for books and other supplies needed for an individual's coursework.
  • Smart-casual dress code.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
