Jefferson's Ferry is a Life Plan community and a unique concept. It provides Independent Living and a comprehensive retirement living option for adults over the age of 62 by offering an Active Adult Community, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care and Memory Care, all centrally located on one campus.
Jefferson's Ferry Life Plan Community is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to supervise the health center dining rooms, health center pantries, relating health care personal care, as well as planning and directing special functions. You will also assist in the maintenance of inter-departmental relations and the integrating of the dining service department with the facility plan of operation.
In this role, you will:
  • Assist in providing quality food & enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and staff,
  • With management team, supervise all Dining Service staff as supervisor during the meal period.
  • Supervise the scheduling of special functions and ensure events are serviced correctly.
  • Assist the management team in hiring, orientating, training, evaluating, and counseling of Dining Service staff and promote their professional growth and development.
  • Circulate in all dining areas/resident rooms, during meal periods to field resident/guest comments pertaining to service and food quality.

  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous experience as a dietary tech preferred.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to use business math concepts.
