Cook I - Bring Your Culinary Skills Aboard!
Schedule: Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays based on business demands. Schedule variations will be communicated in advance.
Position Summary
Do you enjoy creating great food and being part of a team that delivers memorable guest experiences? Join our crew as a Cook I aboard our scenic passenger vessel and help keep buffet and galley operations running smoothly while guests enjoy unforgettable dining experiences and skyline views.
What You'll Do
  • Provide friendly and efficient hospitality to guests and coworkers following our RESPECT service standards.
  • Maintain and replenish buffet areas to ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation.
  • Rotate food properly and monitor freshness standards.
  • Read and follow ticketing systems to deliver food accurately.
  • Prepare, portion, arrange, and garnish hot and cold food items.
  • Deliver food promptly from the galley to dining areas.
  • Assist with daily galley cleaning, including equipment, surfaces, and floors.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and support additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous kitchen or culinary experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Energetic, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to take direction and work well under supervision.
  • Strong communication and service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move food supplies, containers, and provisions.
  • Must meet minimum state age requirements.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires comfort working in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and completing vessel safety requirements.
