The salary range for this temp position is $45.30 - $56.00 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown San Francisco office - Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.
Reports to the Director, Global Brand Management (Lip, Face, Collabs) // 6 month assignment

SUMMARY
The Temp Global Brand Manager for Lip is a key business driver who will partner closely with the Director to lead the strategic direction of the category by driving both core and newness business through category management, innovative product development, and effective cross-functional collaboration. This individual is responsible for day-to-day business management responsibilities and will develop short- and long-term brand strategies to deliver and exceed financial targets. This role requires a self-starter who is creative and passionate about beauty and product, with a strong consumer focused mindset. Additionally, strong leadership, communication, analytical skills, and agility are critical in this role. The Global Brand Manager will have the potential to manage a team member.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Category Strategy & Activation
  • Partner with the Director to drive category growth by being a category expert with a "merchant mindset" who has extensive knowledge of the competitive landscape, including product offerings, sales & consumer trends, core campaigns, visual merchandising, artistry, and social media (i.e. Tik Tok)
  • Drive annual global core strategies to build category growth
  • Manage long-range category planning to guarantee financial success and strategic alignment
  • Optimize gross margin through strategic pricing, cost management, and obsolescence reduction
  • Drive portfolio management by optimizing and discontinuing assortment
  • Lead Global Brand projects as needed

Global Product Management
  • Partner with the Director to develop both short-term and long-term product strategies that align with category and brand objectives
  • Partner with the Director to optimize P&L lines, costs, and margin targets to meet financial objectives for the category
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to drive innovation based on portfolio gaps, market analytics, competitive insights, DEI, and emerging trends
  • Lead all Go-to-Market plans to ensure successful global product launches (e.g., market size, product positioning and messaging, unique selling proposition, asset creation, content pillars, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain effective cross-functional relationships on all aspects of the execution of the brand including creative, copy, style guides, visual merchandising, e-commerce and education.
  • Ensure product data accuracy across all systems (e.g., product brief, launch date, shade names, pricing, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of related business experience, Beauty or Retail industry preferred
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across sales, marketing, operations, education, and creative teams
