The salary range for this position is $127,100 - $150,900 per year. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown San Francisco office - Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.

SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager of Marketing for Lip Lab is responsible for leading, creating, executing and driving innovative, yet efficient 360 marketing strategies and plans that shape the future of this emerging Brand.
This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, requiring work with multiple brand stakeholders, including creative, social, media, influencer, brand management and store teams. You will be the quarterback of a highly talented, passionate team in an established beauty incubator.
With the goal of on-budget, best in class execution of consumer centric marketing campaigns, this person must be passionate about the beauty industry, demonstrate excellent teamwork, entrepreneurial spirit and communication skills.
This role reports into the VP, Global Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, lead and help execute 360 strategic marketing plans to drive overall brand goals
  • Lead development of marketing campaigns collaborating closely with cross functional corporate teams - paid media, creative, influencer, events, social - and store teams to ensure timelines are met and that there is close upfront alignment and clear R&Rs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of what's going on in culture, the category and in our consumers lives to ensure powerful, consumer centric marketing campaigns and storytelling
  • Own Lip Lab marketing budget & budget planning
  • Manage PR agency relationship and support of initiatives that ladder up to brand goals.
  • Plan and execute flawless new store opening events (6-8 per year), leveraging social media, influencers and on-site activations, to create a buzz and generate excitement. You will also collaborate on post-launch social and influencer strategies to foster customer engagement, brand loyalty and ultimately lead to each store's success.
  • Oversee the content planning process with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution across website, operations, and store teams.
  • Lead monthly marketing reporting efforts and hindsight to creative along with how results will transform future plans.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, must be able to create compelling presentations to support various business needs

REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of Marketing experience with a proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies across all channels (digital & traditional), ideally with a strong background in retail or experiential retail. You'd bring a deep understanding of specific markets across North America and localize as needed.
  • Strong understanding in managing multi-channel campaigns including digital, social/influencer, media, PR, CRM
  • Data driven approach, with the ability to track and analyze to inform future strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit a must in this fast paced-ambiguous environment. Must be a self starter and be able to pivot quickly to business needs.
  • Collaborative - must be a strong communicator and be able to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams- especially with field teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
  • Can-do, positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach; flexible to pivot with evolving business needs.
