Pauls Auto Restoration of NY Inc. / Paul’s 4x4 Service & Restorations is seeking an experienced Body Man / Metal Fabricator to join our high-end restoration team.
We are looking for a skilled professional with strong experience in classic car restoration, panel repair, metal shaping, rust repair, fabrication, and body fitment. This is for someone who takes pride in precision work, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:

  • Metal repair and fabrication on classic, muscle, and custom vehicles
  • Rust repair, patch panels, floor pans, trunk pans, inner structures, and body mounts
  • Quarter panel, fender, door skin, hood, roof, and trunk metal replacement and repair
  • Body panel alignment, gapping, and fitment
  • Fabrication of custom sheet metal components as needed
  • Lead work, filler work, and panel finishing to high standards
  • Disassembly and reassembly related to body repair
  • Work closely with paint and assembly departments
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Requirements:

  • Proven experience in high-end auto restoration
  • Strong metal fabrication and welding skills
  • Ability to repair and replace body panels properly
  • Experience with classic cars, muscle cars, trucks, and resto-mod builds
  • Ability to read a job, plan repairs, and execute with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and organization
  • Own tools preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced professional shop environment
