Job description

Job Summary

We’re looking for a pet waste technician with at least a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, ability to problem solve, comfortable driving, ability to use a tablet and high skills in working independently. This is a year round position. Must like working outdoors. Other skills such as being knowledgeable and comfortable with animals are encouraged as well.
  • We offer use of one of our vehicles to use during business hours, equipment and uniforms are provided as well.
  • Our business hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7am to 2pm, but we also offer flexibility in days you will work.
Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure each client’s property is clear of pet waste and that each gate or fence is secured as it was before you arrived.
  • Continue a cordial relationship with clients and their neighbours while respecting their property and privacy.
  • Operating our vehicles while adhering to local traffic laws.
  • Follow an assigned route using a GPS navigation system.
  • Dispose of pet waste at appropriate receptacles.
  • Achieving established goals of becoming familiar with your daily routes.
  • Understanding the basics of a tablet and how to access applications within it.
  • Work outside year-round, in a variety of weather conditions
Qualifications and Skills

  • A high school diploma.
  • A valid driver’s license, good driving record.
  • A professional appearance.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction while completing your route in a timely manner.
  • The ability to problem solve.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
