Job description

Larson Farms, a diversified family farming operation near Hazard, Nebraska, seeks dependable Seasonal Harvest Equipment Operators to join our team from late September through mid-November. This role offers the chance to work with well-maintained modern Case IH equipment, operate across crop and livestock operations, and gain hands-on experience in a team-oriented environment directly alongside the owners.

Responsibilities

  • Operate grain carts, tractors, and semi trucks
  • Support grain harvest logistics and general harvest activities
  • Fuel, service, and transport equipment between fields
  • Assist with calf processing, cattle movement, and temporary electric fence building
  • Perform fall tillage and other seasonal fieldwork

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of agricultural equipment operation experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
  • Proficient in tractor, grain cart, and semi truck operation
  • Mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and safety compliance
