• What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will work managing, and directing team members engaged in a variety of mail management, print, publications and graphics activities in order to recommend ways to improve efficiency and modernization strategies. Typical assignments include: Interpreting, creating, editing, and reviewing of instructions, policy, or directives in support of an agency wide national level program administration. Overseeing publications ordering, warehousing and distribution operations. Working with supply system/sources, budgetary, procurement regulations and procedures to include micro purchase card and contract requirements. What else do I need to know? Every FEMA employee has regular and recurring emergency management responsibilities, though not every position requires routine deployment to disaster sites. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
