Job Function

• Maintain a high level of respect and customer service for patients, staff members, families, and fellow crew members.
• Prepares to transport patients by completing operator vehicle inspections, inventorying supplies, and correcting deficiencies.
• Respond to emergencies/assignments; observe traffic conditions; avoid dangerous situations; maintain communications with dispatch.
• Determine medical and safety requirements on scene by assessing the medical status of ill or injured persons; assessing prevailing circumstances; and calling for support.
• Stabilize ill or injured persons by rendering first aid; and relaying status to medical personnel.
• Maintain safety and healthy conditions by following the procedures and policies of AlphaOne Ambulance and SCEMSA.

Job Types:

Full-time 30+ hours
NOTICE: Per current Operational needs, we are hiring for full-time roles only. Full-time shifts are considered to be three (3), 10-hour shifts per week. 

Part-time 29 hours or less

Pay:

$20.90/hour (10-hour shift; $19 base for first 8 hours with 2 hours overtime)

$22.17/hour (12-hour shift; $19 base for first 8 hours with 4 hours overtime)

*$2 night differential

EMT Annual Wages: $43,000 - $94,000
