- Participate in classroom, field-based, and virtual training sessions on emergency preparedness, incident response, crisis management, and recovery operations as it relates to autonomously driven vehicles.
- Conduct drills, tabletop exercises, and full-scale simulations to assess readiness and identify improvement areas.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in emergency management practices, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emergency preparedness into organizational operations
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal emergency management regulations and standards.
- Support real-world incident response when required, providing guidance and coordination as needed.
- Educate public safety agencies on how emerging transportation technologies operate, how they respond during emergency situations, and the best practices for safe and effective interaction.
- Work closely with municipal public safety officials to ensure the safe introduction of emerging transportation technology.
- Build trust, enhance safety and foster collaboration.
- Apply a technical understanding of new transportation technologies to support incident response and provide clear, concise information to emergency management personnel.

- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with risk assessment, hazard mitigation planning, and continuity of operations (COOP)
- Experience with EOC exercises (tabletop, functional, full-scale)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
