Job description

While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location in Conley, GA.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Supports end user device lifecycle operations by coordinating repair processes, managing inventory, and ensuring timely distribution of equipment. This role helps maintain reliable device availability and collaborates with IT, vendors, and logistics partners to deliver efficient, compliant, and user-focused services
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Coordinate device repair activities including vendor warranty claims and internal service processes
  • Manage inventory of end user devices, peripherals, and replacement parts
  • Oversee device distribution to ensure timely fulfillment of user requests
  • Collaborate with IT support and logistics teams to align repair and distribution services with enterprise standards
  • Document repair workflows, distribution activities, and asset tracking information
  • Support compliance reviews, audits, and lifecycle reporting for end user devices
  • Provides technical support to Business partners, peers and contract personnel including guidance to ensure adherence to Support Services standards and best practices.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Support Services Level 2/
  • or engineering/App Dev teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedure

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree in information technology, supply chain, business administration, and / or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in IT asset management, device lifecycle operations, or logistics
  • Familiarity with repair processes, warranty management, and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and asset tracking practices
  • Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and lifecycle management standards
  • Experience with collaboration and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow preferred
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills to manage inventory, repair processes, and distribution activities
  • Collaboration and communication skills to work with IT teams, vendors, and logistics partners
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and compliance with standards
  • Problem-solving skills to optimize repair workflows and distribution efficiency
  • Ability to lift/carry IT equipment varying weights several times a week, to lift equipment weighing approximately 75 pounds
