Hazmat Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Frankfort, IL / On-Site

1st Shift: 7:00a - 3:30pm, Monday- Friday

Rate of Pay: $23.00 per hour

The International Hazmat Shipping and Receiving Clerk supports daily shipping, receiving, and documentation activities to ensure safe, compliant, and timely material movement at H.B. Fuller. This role contributes to accurate recordkeeping, regulated hazardous materials handling, and efficient workflow coordination. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail and consistent execution of established procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation

  • Coordinate domestic and international hazmat shipments

  • Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records

  • Operate forklift and material-handling equipment safely

  • Use UPS and FedEx software for shipment processing

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet daily workload requirements

  • Support compliance with hazardous waste and dangerous goods regulations

  • Maintain organized work areas and complete data entry tasks

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years clerical experience in shipping/receiving

  • Proficiency in UPS/FedEx systems, MS Office, forklift operation; strong communication, organization, math, reading, and workloadprioritization skills

  • International Shipping

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and SPC programs

  • SAP or WMS data entry experience

  • Strong Customer Service Skills

  • Experience supporting continuous improvement activities

  • Hazmat Shipping

  • Bilingual

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $23.00 per hour.
