About the role:
The Warehouse Operator supports the site's medical manufacturing warehouse operations. Daily operations consist of receiving, shipping, staging raw materials in cleanrooms, working within an ERP system to input, sort, and organize shipping data, loading and unloading products, and performing additional warehouse-related activities.
What you will do:
  • Maintain first in-first out control of inventory. Enter inventory transactions (in or out) directly into the computer system; utilize bar code labels and scanners to track inventory and maintain traceability through proper documentation of material lot numbers and expiration dates.
  • Manage the physical movement of goods from receipt to shipment, the incoming staging area, and from the finished goods staging area to storage areas.
  • Organize, stock, and maintain inventory levels accurately.
  • Assist in the Cycle Count process: Participate in root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences; Partner with Warehouse Lead to develop and implement goals related to inventory accuracy.
  • Aid in managing inventory that is nearing expiry to ensure timely dispositions.
  • Perform inspections on incoming raw material and outgoing product for defects or damage as part of the processing packages and shipments of orders.
  • Ensure packing slips, both incoming and outgoing, are properly recorded and stored; this includes verification of part numbers, quantity amounts, and shipping locations are all accurate.
  • Participate in Ship on Time Meetings as needed; provide status updates to Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality functions with shipment updates.
  • Assist in the management of chemical/hazardous material dispending and disposal.
  • Perform safety checks on the packaging, storage racks, material handling, equipment, and overall warehouse areas.

Who you are:
  • GED or high school diploma required
  • One (1) to two (2) years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • One (1) to two (2) years years of experience with UPS/FedEx shipping and label machines
  • Experience with international shipping and required shipping documentation - Proforma and Bill of Ladens
  • Experience in performing cycle counts, lot number tracing, and monitoring material expiration dates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications, IQMS and ERP software, or other business-related software programs.
  • Non-expired Driver's License and Tow Motor Experience.
  • Certified forklift and pallet jack operator preferred.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
