Job description

Raymond Westis seeking energeticStockroom Clerkto join our fantastic Parts Team! The Stockroom Clerk issues and stores spare parts for operations and service vans by performing the following duties at the direction of the stockroom supervisor:

Our customers trust us to provide the right supply chain solutions and services to keep their business up and running.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.

  • Store purchased parts in stockroom bins and issue parts to technicians upon request.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts received and issued and perform periodic inventory of parts in storeroom.
  • Work with and support all phases of shipping and receiving, control supplies and tools.
  • Ability to interface professionally with vendors, customers, management, and peers.
  • Ship and receive parts and supplies. Pull, put away, and inventory supplies, tools, and materials.
  • Receive and ship UPS and Fed Ex orders on a daily basis. Deliver received items to addressees in a timely fashion.
  • Press tires as needed.
  • Participate in Parts Department general inventories.
  • Perform various duties that are directly or indirectly associated with company activity, as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required'

  • Be able to communicate with all levels of employees, manufacturers, and vendors, verbally and in writing.
  • Present a clean, neat appearance.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work area. Sweep and mop floors regularly.

  • Maintain a professional attitude in all matters.
  • Be willing and able to learn quickly and perform accurately and neatly with a degree of flexibility.
  • Be motivated to continuous self-development and training.
  • Be willing to comply with the employee handbook.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general educational development (GED),
  • Three months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Requirement:

  • Some locations may require occasional driving of a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.

Pay Range:

  • The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
